2013 SUBARU tourdeRoadAmerica - BIKE RIDE TO FIGHT CANCER
Presented by Lakeland Automotive
Friday, August 9, 2013, approx 5:30 PM (new, earlier time!)
Ready to ride the smooth, rolling hills of the 4.0 mile Road America race track? There are several ways to register for the ride, each with a couple of options. The most important thing to remember is that to do the Bike Ride to Fight Cancer, you need two things.
ride check in
After you have registered for the ride, check in at the tourdeRoadAmerica booth on the main paddock road. You'll receive your t-shirt and goody bag at check in. If you've earned fundraising incentives, you will also pick them up at check in. Maps, directions, and parking information is located >here<. Look for the yellow banners for the tourdeRoadAmerica booth.
Print any donation confirmations or receipts and bring them with you to check in.
We encourage all participants to fundraise for the ride. It's not a requirement, but we strongly encourage it. Like the peloton in major cycling races, the team accomplishes more when it works together.
Even if you make only the minimum donation in Option A, you can still fundraise among your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. When you raise at least $100, we'll waive your your personal contribution (or better yet, we'll add it to your total!). Raise $500 and get a free Friday ticket to Road America and other great goodies.Learn more about fundraising incentives...
New for 2013, you can choose to register (and donate to or fundraise) for either LIVESTRONG or the Austin Hatcher Foundation.
Register on Friday, August 9 at the event. It's a big help to the organizers and volunteers if you pre-register, but if you can't, you can register on the spot at the tourdeRoadAmerica booth on the main paddock road. >Maps and directions here<.
Friday admission to Road America is required for all riders in the tourdeRoadAmerica. If you already have tickets or admission, all you need to do is complete Option A or B from Part 1 above to register.
For your convenience, you can both pre-register for the ride (through a donation) and purchase Friday or other weekend ticket packages directly from Road America's ticket office.
The Friday admission ticket and tour de Road America contribution is $50 when purchased by 7/31/13.
When pre-registering through Road America, your tourdeRoadAmerica registration includes a $25 contribution to the tour de Road America Foundation, which will be granted to >one of our other worthy beneficiaries<.
